Paint Correction FAQ

  • Here at High Shine Detail we offer Paint Correction. Paint correction is the removal of swirls and scratches from your paint’s surface. When the sun hits your paint those unsightly swirls and scratches are easily seen . Those swirls and scratches keep your car from shining like a brand new car fresh off the showroom floor. After a paint correction we recommend applying a ceramic coating to protect the flawless finish. Because ceramic coatings are a form of permanent paint protection, we need to ensure that the surface is a as scratch free as possible so that the nano ceramic coating can bond properly to the car paint.

  • High Shine Mobile Auto Detailing in Miami, Florida offers both paint enhancement and paint correction services to improve the appearance of a vehicle's paint.

Paint enhancement is a less aggressive process that is used to improve the appearance of a vehicle's paint and remove minor defects such as light swirl marks and fine scratches, leaving it with a glossy, smooth finish. It's suitable for vehicles that have a relatively new paint job or are well-maintained. This service is perfect for those who want to maintain the appearance of their vehicle and keep it looking new.

On the other hand, paint correction is a more intensive process that removes moderate to heavy defects such as deeper scratches, oxidation, and etchings from the paint surface. This process can restore the paint of a vehicle that has been neglected or has seen a lot of wear and tear. It's suitable for vehicles that have been in service for a long time or have not been well-maintained.
